Description
𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐃𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐨 After Antonio Luna's death during the 4 year-long Philippine Civil War, four of the last remaining officer of the army that tragically lost channeled their remaining power in hopes of establishing a better society for the Filipinos. Jose Laverez later then created Magdalo that was comprised of the brightest statesmen and the skilled soldiers. He envisioned a society of social development and power. Magdalo grew popularity throughout Eastern Luzon, and built its headquarters in Kawit, Cavite. Magdalo saw its first battles against local militias backed by the Spanish Empire, and although being the first faction with no support from other organizations, it heavily depended on its own manpower and resources.
