🌿 𝐹𝑈𝑅𝐶𝐻𝑇𝐿𝑂𝑆 𝑈𝑁𝐷 𝑇𝑅𝐸𝑈 🌿 1812 💂 📖 INFORMATION ABOUT INFANTERIE-REGIMENT NR.5 „PRINZ FRIEDRICH“ 🌿 The 5th Line Infantry Regiment which descended from the Kreigsregiment Württemberg by Swabian Princes, then in 12th of September 1798; The 2nd Batallion of this regiment was reorganized into "Bataillon von Oberniz" and fought France in 1801, They fought in Silesia at Glogau and a few other battles. In 1809 they were one of the few regiments to stay back due to the ongoing insurrection in Tirol and Vorarlberg which threatened the country and also fought the Mergentheim Rebellion, they got ambushed at Eglofs and Neuravensburg in Vorarlberg. It was spared to not be sent to the campaigns in 1812 and 1813. 🌿
