Description
The 2nd Air Cavalry Squadron, originally established as 2nd Cavalry during the First Great War as a mounted Cavalry unit that served with distinction on the Western Front despite significant casualties. Now the Squadron operates as a rapid deployment force multiplier for friendly forces. Utilizing helicopters for air assault, transport, fire support, and reconnaissance missions. Operating with the speed and agility of traditional cavalry, but with the added advantage of air mobility, combining mobility, precision & strength to support overall ground operations. Built on tradition, honor & respect, Cavalry prides itself on being able to be deployed as a forward strike element at a moment's notice, emphasizing readiness in all aspects. Today, the Squadron are stationed at Fort Standish and attached to the Mayflower National Guard but may be called upon by the President of the Union of Columbia to deploy in support of federal efforts.
