Long before the world was divided between waking and sleeping, there was only the One Dream—a boundless realm where thought shaped reality, and every soul wandered freely. But as fear and despair grew in mortal hearts, the One Dream fractured. From the cracks seeped shadows: Nightmares born of terror, grief, and calamity. They fed on the minds of dreamers, twisting them until they could no longer awaken. To protect both the dream realm and the waking world, a secret order arose—the Dream Walkers. Gifted with the rare ability to cross between dreams, they walk the shifting paths of the subconscious, guiding lost souls and confronting the horrors that dwell within. The Dream Walkers are not just warriors; they are guides. Each battle they fight against a nightmare is also a trial for the dreamer it haunts. Through their victories, they awaken hidden strength in others, unlocking fragments of the dreamers’ inner selves—the truest form of who they are meant to become.
