Duchy of Asheniande #897617692
Description
Asheniande, seat of the Pale Raven, stands as one of the surviving branches of the ancient síl Vivin dynasty, while across the border lies Corvuria, ruled by the rival Black Raven. Their shared blood and history have bound the two realms together as much as they have divided them, with both claiming the legacy of their ancestral house while pursuing their own visions of its future. Their rivalry erupted into war when Corvuria sought to secure Asheniande through the marriage of Valeran síl Vivin and Isobel síl Asheniande. When the match failed and Asheniande refused Corvurian demands, the War of the Pale Raven began in 1341. Corvurian forces invaded, but Imperial intervention turned the tide, and Asheniande emerged victorious, cementing the Pale Raven's independence. Yet beneath centuries of rivalry and noble disputes lies a darker bond between the two realms, a shadow estate that controls the apparatus of government in the background. All to hide further secrets. Wine but no vineyards.
