𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁 DAI-SAN KANTAI 第一艦隊 ────────────────── The 3rd Fleet was revived on 24 December 1908 as an expeditionary force during the Chinese Republic's Revolution, to safeguard Japanese interests on the Chinese mainland and to conduct emergency evacuation. Its cruisers patrolled the Yangtze River and other large rivers in China, and its headquarters was in the Japanese concession in Shanghai.
