Most were consisted of Clone Troopers, who were transferred from the 501st, Shock Troopers, Coruscant Guard, as well as humans, whom were excellent at Air Combat, and ground combat. The I8Ist saw action over Ryloth during the Imperial Era, Bothawi, Endor, and other countless fights with the Emperor with or tasking them, during the Galactic Civil War.
