[Founded January 7th, 2021] [CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT] IN-GROUP YEAR: 1970AD Following the socialist coup of the Union of Burma in 1962, many disgruntled Bzuddhists would secede, forming the Enlightened Republic of Homanai. After a two-year civil war, Homanai was granted independence on January 29th, 1964. Homanai would originally adopt an absolute Bzuddhist theocracy, though this was eschewed in 1966 for a republic guided by Bzuddhist ideals. Today, the republic is rather unstable, but foreign aid has kept the country's government afloat for now.
