Description
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division, Region 1, is responsible for protecting Georgia’s natural resources and enforcing state laws throughout Northwest Georgia. Conservation Rangers conduct wildlife and boating enforcement, investigate violations, respond to outdoor emergencies, and work with local, state, and federal agencies. Region 1 is headquartered in Acworth and serves communities, waterways, wildlife management areas, and public lands throughout the region. Rangers are committed to professional, fair, and effective enforcement while protecting Georgia’s wildlife, waterways, and outdoor heritage.
