Description

Waffle Academy (ワッフル学院) is a small school with roots in manufacturing and cultural exchange with Belgium. Originally founded to help improve local industry in Kansai through Belgian technology, it declined when war disrupted those connections and its Sensha-dō program ended. To survive, the school shifted its focus to Belgian culinary traditions, becoming popular in Kobe and eventually renaming itself Waffle. As it expanded, it imported ingredients directly from Belgium, upgraded its facilities, added arts programs, and eventually brought back Sensha-dō.

Growth

2 measurements spanning 54 days, net +6. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 16–24 and does not start at zero.
