Marlowe County, West Virginia, 1991 The Government of Marlowe County is responsible for the administration and continued operation of county services, infrastructure, public property, and local government. From the courthouse in Snow Hollow, county officials oversee public works, taxation, licensing, emergency services, land records, elections, and the many other responsibilities necessary to keep Marlowe County functioning. Despite its isolation, Marlowe County has remained a close and self-reliant community for generations.
