Kaer Morhen — Stronghold of the Wolf Hidden deep within the mountains, Kaer Morhen stands as the last refuge of the School of the Wolf, a fortress where witchers are forged through discipline, trial, and survival. Once a place of brutal transformation, it now endures as a sanctuary for the few who remain—scarred veterans, hardened by battle, and bound not by rank, but by shared experience. Within these ancient walls, knowledge is preserved and passed down by those who have survived the Path. Under the guidance of seasoned mentors such as Vesemir, new recruits are trained in swordsmanship, alchemy, and the use of Signs, preparing them for a life spent hunting the monsters that plague the Continent. There are no crowns, no titles of nobility, and no formal chains of command—only respect earned through skill, resilience, and reputation. Every witcher walks their own path, yet all who return to Kaer Morhen remain part of the Wolf.
