Description
Clan Saxon was a clan of Mandalorian warriors who practiced the warrior traditions of ancient Mandalore. After the Great Clan Wars devastated Mandalore, Duchess Satine Kryze pushed Mandalore into a new pacifistic direction under the New Mandalorian movement. Mandalore's surviving warriors were exiled to Concordia, where Clan Saxon fought with its rivals, including Clan Verminoth, and were thought to have died out, but they in fact survived as members of the Death Watch movement or out in the galaxy. Indeed, Clan Saxon survived and remained dedicated to its war-like traditions, but the faction found itself disenfranchised. When the rogue Sith Lord Maul allied with Death Watch, eventually taking it over, Clan Saxon was revitalized and rallied under Maul's leadership, as decreed by clan leader Gar Saxon.
