“Keeping New Orleaux Flowing” The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleaux (SWBNO) is an independent public utility responsible for providing safe drinking water, wastewater treatment, and major stormwater drainage for the City of New Orleaux. Established by state law, it operates and maintains the city’s water treatment plants, sewer systems, and large-scale pumping and drainage infrastructure, working around the clock to protect public health and keep the city functioning—especially during heavy rain and emergency conditions.
