Description
By default, we recognize ALL other Catholic communities, ranks, and their leaders! If you own a community, you are welcome to ally with the Holy See of Avignon. I Sommi Pontefici Romani: Urbanus PP IX (6 June 2026 - present) Ioannes PP XXIV (17 April 2026 - 29 May 2026) Lore: Anno Domini 1309. The Chair of Saint Peter no longer rests in Rome. Beneath the stone walls and golden halls of Avignon, the Holy See rises as a power unlike any other: sacred, wealthy, feared, and constantly watched. Here, Cardinals whisper behind closed doors, nobles seek papal favor, envoys carry dangerous messages across Europe, and rival factions struggle for influence over the throne of Christendom. Every decree can make a kingdom kneel. Every alliance can spark a war. Every betrayal can change the fate of the Church. Will you serve the Pope with loyalty, climb the ranks of the Curia, command guards in defense of Avignon, negotiate as a foreign diplomat, or scheme in the shadows for power?
