Welcome to the Hayward Fire Rescue. Our staff members are a team of highly trained individuals that respond to a variety of Fire and EMS related emergencies in the public servers. They are trained to serve the people of the county/city at any given moment. Our experience, tools, knowledge, and professionalism help to keep the people of Liberty County safe and healthy. S.1 Mission & Responsibilities The Howard County fire department responds to all fire and rescue related calls at any time of the day, any day of the week. We strive to provide the most in-depth of roleplays including extrication from vehicles and structures, technical rescues, and fire extinguishment and prevention. Our division is known for: High call volume and fast turnout times Strong inter‑station coordination Professionalism in fire suppression, EMS, and rescue operations Maintaining the highest training and readiness standards in the county Division 3 sets the benchmark for performance across the department.
