Description

𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄: The composite state of the Duchy of Savoy and Kingdom of Sardinia, formally referred to as "States of His Majesty the King of Sardinia", existed independently up until 1861, when it was reformed into the Kingdom of Italy. Remaining uninvolved for the majority of the Napoleonic Wars after being partially annexed by France, rearmament began in 1814. Soon after, they participated in the Hundred Days War following Napoleon Bonaparte's return to France.
