|||GROUP UNDER DEVELOPMENT||| K&B is a German shipping company, founded in 1843 in Pi-lla-u, East Prussia. It consists of a fleet of passenger ships, cargo ships, and river steamers. After 1945 when East Prussia became part of Poland, Russia and Lithuania, the line was moved to the Allied-occupied Germany. In 1949 it was split into two other companies, one being in West Germany and second being in East Germany. In 1991 the companies merged and reformed K&B.
