The Gordon Highlanders The Gordon Highlanders were raised following the 1881 Army reforms, recruiting it's ranks in north-eastern Scotland. Mainly comprised of militia & volunteer units, the regiment pursued countless numbers of engagements across British military conflicts, earning it's fame for their bravery during the Battle of Tell El Kebir & deployments during the First World War all the way from Western France to the Italian Peninsula. ORGANISATION • 🌎 4th (City of Aberdeen) Battalion • 🌍 5th (Buchan and Formartin) Battalion • 🌏 6th (The Banff and Donside) Volunteer Battalion to enlist join the dizzy below and fill out the format in enlist channel being careful to select the Gordon Highlanders when enlisting.
