Description
𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐤𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐑 Adrian von Enckhevoert got his regiment, the Enckhevoert IR in 1642 but the regiment itself had two owners before Adrian and had existed since 1619. The regiment was originally created by Hannibal Count of Schaumburg in 1619 being recruited in Lower Austria. The regiment then passed to Walter Count of Leslie in 1634 where the regiment was reinforced by men from the Nuremberg area around Hersbruck. Adrian then got the regiment in 1642 where it was added onto by Upper Austrian companies.
