It was established around 14,000 years ago with the purpose of organizing human colonization after death. The Initiative serves as a multi-dimensional security force to protect humanity, and it monitors Earth while carrying out covert military operations without much consideration for long-term consequences. Due to the limitations of organic matter leaving Corbenic, the majority of objects associated with the Initiative are advanced drones or machines controlled by Corbenic.
