𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗱ø𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘝𝘪𝘯𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞 The Grand Duchy of East Vinland was once a collection of settlements established on the Leiften Islands from a vast network of hamlets formed by Norse Vikings and Icelandic settlers. Following the loss of contact with Europe and their Norse ancestors, they became an independent community that experienced large amounts of growth, development, and exploration following the various dynasties and Þorpsstríð Era. In 1776 the nation with its southern neighbor became independent of the British empire following over 100 years of rule-following first contact in the early 1600s. Even so, peace would not be permanent. With the Napoleonic Wars in Europe ramping up and the beginning of the War of 1812, eyes have started to turn towards the fledgling nation. Now the people like once before must fend for themselves in a world that demands its submission. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱! 1804-1815
