𝔸𝕝𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕖 ℝ𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕗𝕖𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕦𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕪 1806-1815 When Napoleon invaded Russia in 1812, he was successful, crushing the Russians. After that Napoleon made peace with the whole of Europe in 1813 and was left as Ruler of Europe with his many client states around the continent. One of those states was the Confederation of the Rhine, the alliance of German states. In 1814, Napoleon signed a treaty with Austria and Prussia, bringing them into the Confederation.
