The Dominion of Etriyal represents one of the most strategically significant overseas territories under the authority of Vathyrona. Unlike older, more settled colonies, Etriyal was carved out through decades of gradual expansion, treaties, and frontier warfare, before being formally organized into a dominion in 1893 to bring cohesion to the region’s administration. Its creation marked a shift from scattered outposts to a structured colonial state capable of sustaining long-term control. By 1934, Etriyal has grown into a hardened frontier dominion, defined not by comfort but by resilience. Its lands are vast and often unforgiving, stretching across difficult terrain that has shaped both its people and its military doctrine. Settlements remain fortified, governance is pragmatic, and authority is maintained through a careful balance of civil administration and disciplined force. It is here that Vathyrona tests its ability to hold and manage the edges of its influence.
