Description
The Seljuks were a high medieval Turko-Persian Empire, originating from the Kinik branch of Oghuz Turks. They ruled land conquered from the declining Byzantine Empire after the battle of Manzikert. The Turks were considered masters of sword fighting which had made their names renown throughout their era.
