Description
Stubborn and rugged are the defining features of both Ard Laign and her people. Once spanning from the Firth of Laign to the Forlorn Peaks, the Kingdom was established by the Goidelic tribes of yore known as the Dal Tuadthi, ancient God-like ancestors to the Goidelic people. Independence forged by the blood of the five armies at Tharren Rock turned the dejected kingdom into a bulwark against the advances of Divian conquerors and northern raiders. The hubris of Fargas Half-hand led the kingdom towards disaster, and still to this day Ard Laign deals with the reverberations of his machinations.
