Description

The Ōtsutsuki Clan is an ancient clan of horned celestial beings also described as aliens. As a parasitic species, they have spent thousands of years traversing the cosmos in order to carry out the Ōtsutsuki Will, a doctrine which dictates that clan members consume the life energy and genetic material of other worlds in order to continuously evolve, with the ultimate goal of attaining godhood. After their arrival, the Ōtsutsuki began having a lasting influence on the human population, notably starting the history of shinobi. While also heavily influencing both the shinobi and the world at large as their actions having shaped the world into what it is today. Some members of this clan notably have unusual anatomy such as horns. They also tend to have paler complexions and having been adapted to exceedingly harsh environments, such as the Moon. They are the progenitors of notable clans such as the Senju, Uzumaki, Uchiha, Hyūga, and Kaguya clans. They are also the originators of puppets.
