Description
The Nopyfruit Safety & Control Commission (NSCC) was established under the authority of the State of Mayflower following the rapid and unregulated spread of nopyfruit cultivation in the early 21st century. Initially dismissed as a harmless agricultural novelty, nopyfruit quickly became the center of a growing underground economy, with unlicensed growers, distributors, and “refiners” operating beyond any formal oversight. As concerns mounted over public safety, product integrity, and the destabilizing effects of illicit nopy circulation, the state legislature authorized the creation of a centralized regulatory body. Thus, the NSCC was formed. tasked with enforcing strict compliance standards, licensing legal production, and eradicating unauthorized operations.
