Description
A survivalist tribe and militia formed by disillusioned Desert Rangers and nomadic Sonoran tribals in 2201, the Sonoran Ramblers bear little resemblance to the band of gunslinging peacemakers they draw their roots from, often being referred to by locals and travelers as "Sidewinders" due to their rattlesnake-like unpredictability and ruthlessness. The Ramblers lay claim to large swathes of territory along Interstate 8 east of the Lagunas, roaming the region and terrorizing travelers and caravans who fail to pay tolls or protection costs for safe passage through the region. The group rarely respects the sovereignty of the NCR, but dutifully protects the property of wealthy Californian brahmin barons and caravan magnates, often assisting in hostile takeovers of smaller ranches and caravan routes well outside of the Ramblers' normal territories.
