Description
The Arsacid dynasty was the ruling family of the Parthian Empire from about 247 BC to 224 AD. Founded by Arsaces I, it established Parthia as a major power in the Middle East and maintained control for nearly 500 years. The Arsacids ruled through a decentralized system, relying on powerful noble families, and were known for their ongoing rivalry with Rome.
