Akershusiske Skarpskytterregiment ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ The Akershus Sharpshooter Regiment was an infantry unit in the Norwegian Army, established by royal rescript on 22 February 1810. The regiment consisted of snipers, who at the time were light infantrymen who largely functioned as hunters, but used flintlock rifles instead of rifles.
