The Union Supreme Court of Myanmar (Burmese: ပြည်ထောင်စုတရားလွှတ်တော်ချုပ်) is the highest judicial authority in the country and the apex court of the Union judiciary. It has final appellate jurisdiction over all courts and tribunals and is responsible for interpreting and safeguarding the Constitution. The Court oversees the administration of justice nationwide, supervises lower courts, and ensures the uniform application of law across the Union. Headquartered in Naypyidaw, the Union Supreme Court plays a central role in Myanmar’s judicial system by adjudicating constitutional, civil, and criminal matters of national importance.
