Ikkō-Ikki 一向一揆 ╚══════════════════════════════ ∘◦ ❉ ◦∘ ═══════════════════════════════╝ The Ikkō-Ikki was a confederacy of different temples, under the Jōdo Shinshū faith, for the goal of economic equality for temples and faith. The military aspect of the league was lead strongly by the Shimozuma, a family of the Oyama Cadet branch of the Fujiwara Clan. The provinces owned by the Ikkō-Ikki were controlled by local family who had been assigned defenders of the local temples who formed the confederacy. Their main enemies were the Hosokawa, Tokugawa, Toyotomi, and Oda Clans. Major allies were the Mōri, Azai, Ashikaga and Asakura Clans. Headed in Kaga under the Kaga-Ikki.
