Description
The 700 Block wasn’t the kind of place people moved to for comfort—it was a place families worked hard to make brighter. Rows of worn-down houses, cracked sidewalks, and a corner store that stayed open late gave it a tough look. But for the kids born there, the 700 Block was home. Out of those challenges grew the 700 Block Boyz, a group built on loyalty, friendship, and determination. It started with a handful of kids who didn’t have much. Their parents worked long hours to keep things together, and the kids leaned on each other like family. The block became their playground, their classroom, and the place where they learned life’s lessons. At first, it was about looking out for one another—walking home from school together, sharing snacks, and sticking up for each other when times got rough.
