Description
🐎𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 “𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐑” The 3rd Cavalry Division, headquartered in Sombor, was one of the Royal Yugoslav Army’s key mobile formations during the interwar years and into the April War of 1941. Built around the 6th and 7th Cavalry Regiments, supported by a horse‑artillery battalion and reconnaissance elements, the division embodied Yugoslavia’s effort to maintain rapid‑response forces in a period of rising regional tension.
