Description
𝟕𝟏𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓 (𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐘) "𝙃𝙊𝙇𝘿 𝙁𝘼𝙎𝙏!" Raised in Scotland at Elgin by Major-General the Lord MacLeod from a series of Higlander clansmen in the late 1700s, the regiment served ably in India at Mysore and saw action during the Napoleonic Wars at Rolica and Vimeiro, as well as in the gallant rearguard action at Corunna, allowing the British Army to escape capture in the Peninsula and live to fight another day.
