🌿Dansk-Norske Hær🌿 📌 The Danish-Norwegian Army during the Napoleonic Wars stood as a resilient and disciplined force, forged by crisis and hardened by constant pressure from Europe's great powers. After Britain’s attacks on Copenhagen forced the twin monarchy into alliance with France, the army mobilized rapidly, organizing strong infantry, skilled jæger light troops, elite guard units, determined Norwegian frontier soldiers, and capable artillery formations. Despite shortages caused by the blockade, the army maintained high standards and defended the kingdom’s borders with tenacity,fighting the British at sea in the Gunboat War and holding firm against Sweden in the north. Though the war ended with the loss of Norway in 1814, the Danish-Norwegian Army earned a reputation for discipline, endurance, and exceptional courage under extraordinary hardship.
