WCKD tried wiping out 30% of the world population with a virus said to kill them, for population control. The process went completely wrong and turned the people into infected we call cranks. Before that, we already had the sun flares which ruined our lands and turned them into a wasteland. WCKD built massive structures, which we call safe zones to survive and do tests to find the cure against The Flare Virus. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Motto: "WCKD is GOOD" WCKD is based on the highly acclaimed Maze Runner book/movie trilogy.
