The event, that will be caused in the future caused by the awakening of the Lord, also known as, "The Ascension" will take place in said future. The awakening of Vorrius will result in total annihilation of the world, and or possible human extinction. The Children of Vor serve as the acting presence of the Holy One, Vor.
