"Welcome to the worst place on earth." 2056, the world holds its breath as new wars and disasters emerge. The Cold War never ended, and now the world is stuck in brutal, stalemated conflicts. In an attempt to find a solution and push forward the development of better weapons and new technologies, the US Government funded a small yet promising company: the Lost Hills Scientific Corporation. Deep in the barren Mojave desert sits the Lost Hills Armed Research Complex. An old military base, transformed into a high-tech research facility. Teleportation, weapons, bioweapons, nuclear technology, virology, attempts to enhance the human being: the LHARC became the place where the greatest minds of the century converged. But life deep underground, shielded from any governmental or ethical oversight, made the Lost Hills Armed Research Complex something else entirely: Hell on earth.
