Description
A department newly formed, with the influx of immigrants to Japan and the subsequent crimes that growth caused. The Japanese National Gendarmerie is the newly created agency, suggested by former Minister Kihara, in 2026. Due to a trickle of illegal immigration from the special immigration zone into mainland Japan, as well as the unique security risk the existence of Zaibatsu poses to threats from abroad, the JP## ### expanded its operating zone to the special immigration zone of Zaibatsu. After several attacks involving political figures and civilian masses, public opinion forced various political figures to act to save face with the department being officially formed in May of 2027. The National Gendarmerie has been stationed for 8 years now within the Special Immigration region as an assisting policing unit that prefectural agencies rely on in times of mass unrest.
