Description
Formed during the Campaigns of Esperian Unification, these men were Jeani's elite bodyguards who dominated the field of battle and dedicated unwavering loyalty to the King. Even after the Jeani's reign, these men proved their worth to earn the honor of guarding the royal family, and their numbers expanded immensely, which laid the foundations of the Guard Corps. However, during John's reign; peace and corruption would plague the guard's status as the formidable force it once was. This was until William's ascension to the crown, where during the War to the Esperian Throne, they would retain their honor and once again be a force to be reckoned with. Now with their distinctive bearskins, their eagerness to fight for King and Country, they will prevail in every conflict across the globe. ”Despise us all, but remember our names.” ”Omnes nos contemne, sed nomina nostra memento.”
