Description
The Regimiento de Infantería "León" n.º 38 (Infantry Regiment No. 38), along with other peninsular Regiments, was ordered to send one battalion to the Cuban Campaign between 1895 and 1898. In the case of this Regiment, their 1st Battalion was the one sent to Cuba. When this Battalion arrived at Cuba was sent to Havana and brigaded into Headquarters' Brigade, defending the city. During the Cuban Insurrection (1895-1898). The unit was involved in actions in several sectors of Cuba.
