Description
Western Europe during the start of the 15th century was engaged in nothing less than a humongous regicide. What was once a mere dynastic dispute as to who would succeed the throne of France, soon became an all out war on multiple fronts across the continent; pitting the great nations of England and France against each other, both backed by allies from all over. It was here that the paradox of the Medieval period was formulated. Where chivalry saw it's last breath, being suffocated by the emerging military technologies that allowed mere peasants to win wars as opposed to the horse clad warrior class of the nobility. What was once kingly warfare now saw the rise of privatised conflicts operated upon by soldiers of fortune aligned to no man or nation.
