Ventura Bureau of Investigations Prohibited Possessions Enforcement Unit (PPEU) The Prohibited Possessions Enforcement Unit is a specialized Unit within the Ventura Bureau of Investigations responsible for enforcing state laws related to the illegal possession, trafficking, and concealment of prohibited items. Mission Statement: The PPEU exists to identify, investigate, and eliminate illegal possession of dangerous or restricted items that pose a threat to public safety, institutional security, or legal order within Ventura State.
