[ - The Sangheili - ] #9836477
Description
- The Holy Order of the Kaidons - Note: This takes place 10 years after the alliance with the humans. Sangheili and Humanity are no longer allied, they simply co-exist together. The Sangheili are species known for their warrior culture and combat skill. Named after their home planet, Sanghelios, they have historically been known to humans as Elites for their former role in the Covenant's military hierarchy. After the Hierarchs ordered the massacre of the entire Sangheili race during the Great Schism, the species was forced into civil war against the Covenant. A significant number of Sangheili sided with the UNSC against the Prophet-led Covenant; eventually emerging as the Swords of Sanghelios. Led by the Arbiter and a Grand Council of Kaidons, the Swords of Sanghelios became the most prominent Sangheili government.
