Through majority control of Hanjin KAL Corporation, the family, which owns Hanjin Group, is still the airline's largest and most controlling shareholder; ### Won-tae President and CEO; is the third generation of the family to lead the airline. As of June 5, 2020, Hanjin KAL holds 29.27% of Korean Air's shares. Korean Air is one of the founding members of the SkyTeam alliance.
