Description

The ruling clan of Buzen and Bungo Provinces, led by Daimyo Otomo Ryoshu Sensoutora during the Edo Period of Japan. The clan's hereditary lands lay in Kyūshū. The Otomo clan rose as one of the finest developed clans in Japan, having the tighest influence in many historic events. The Ōtomo are especially notable as one of the first clans to make contact with Europeans and acquire matchlock weapons. The Otomo clan was a Japanese family whose power stretched from the Kamakura period through the Sengoku period into the Edo Period, spanning over 400 years. ▣▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▣ To join the Ōtomo military (kumi) ranks, send a request to a Regiment group located in the allies tab. Regiments may hold daily recruitment events, that may be your chance to join. If this is not the case, contact a Kogashira or above.
