Description
The Fermont Militia was formed in the year of 1630 on Cantermagne Island when the first major wave of Acadians landed in New France. The Militia was formed to serve as deterrence to the British and hostile Native tribes. The Militia also acted as one of the first Gendarmerie in Acadia providing the Governor a force to enforce justice in the new colony. The Militia was organized by Commandant Jacques Bonaparte and his brother Major Cherno Bonaparte. To be recruited in the Militia you must attend a interview and be invited.
