Dronningenѕ Livregiment - Queen's Life Regiment In 1657, this Livregiment was established by royal decree. The regiment was awarded its title by Konge Frederick III after serving valiantly during the siege and attack on Copenhagen in October of 1659. When the Danish Auxiliary Corps was formed in August of 1813, the Livregiment was added to the 1st Brigade under the command of Colonel F.E.H. Cronhelm. A Light Company under the command of Captain Flitner was also added. The regiment would see service throughout the retreat back to Denmark and notably at the Battle of Sehested.
